Goodbye MT (once more)

I've given up on wordpress and b2evolution for various reasons, and it looks like I'm going to go with blosxom.

This has a number of benefits including:

• Generating static files (which are cache and mod_gzip friendly)
• Written in Perl with plugin support - so I can extend with minimal pain
• Free license
• Sub-categories

I'm slowly working on building a suitable template and getting various plugins running nicely. Then I shall migrate my old entries across. One day I shall even look at getting a nice XHTML to HTML filter in place and serving up that to older and more primitive browsers (like Internet Explorer)

Oh, and as I've done so much cleaning up of comment spam lately - all comments and trackbacks will go to my email. I can put them up manually if they are sane.
