Mailing List Wonderfulness

I'm sick of mailing lists that silently drop messages from non-subscribers. I have several addresses and sometimes I send a message to a mailing list from a different address to the one I subscribed with. This is what should happen when I do this:

<openbox@icculus.org>:
Sorry, only subscribers may post. If you are a subscriber, please forward this 
message to openbox-owner@icculus.org to get your new address included 
(#5.7.2)

On second thoughts, it looks like it goes to the owner for manual approval. It would be better if this could be automated.
