Hard Disk
Having performed my kernel upgrade, and woken up at a stupid time this morning, I decided to get my new hard disk running.
- I plugged in the controller card.
- I slid the hard disk into its bay and added a couple of screws
- I plugged in power and the SATA cable
- I booted
- I did a google to find out where it would show up in /dev
- It just worked
So having partitioned it, and formated it, I am now copying my home directory over to it from old unreliable.
