Driving in Silence

1. The car ariel broke a week ago
2. The Palm decides that it doesn't want to play the mp3s loaded on to the SD card and decides to crash instead - every time.
3. It is dark
4. The heavy rain is causing near flood-like conditions
5. The service station closed 15 minutes before you get there
6. The petrol station is open and sells you a tape only for you to discover that the motor in the cassette player has died
7. Another hour of night driving to the sound of the engine and the water

I didn't enjoy my trip home on Saturday
